As I told Douchebag in a PM, I don't want for either me or my son to be a hindrance to anybody. I am not that way and to be honest he has been wanting to go to a Bulls game and this seemed the easiest. I don't want anybody to make changes because of either of us, We will all be at the game and he and I will be fine taking care of our ourselves. I am truly looking forward to this, as there will numerous cretins that I have never had the chance to meet and really look forward to.

Is it really a good idea for children to meet us? They might grow up concussed cuz they were conditioned to hate on BurnSTINE and not take heed of his important message re: CTE. Hell, s/he might mistakenly end up being pro-cancer in the name of being anti-Lance.

I think en masse we're too dangerous for impressionable minds to be around. Kids gotta grow up with BurnSTINE like we did otherwise they could go rebel rebel and end up listing Amattacola as an inspirational person on fb.

After further research, and planning, I've decided to stick with our original pregame plans. Here they are:

1. We can meet at The Bottom Lounge around 3:00 PM. I should be there around that time, so feel free to show up anytime you want after 3:00 since that is when they open.

Bottom Lounge address is:
1375 W Lake St.
Chicago IL 60607

It's right near the Corner of Ogden and Lake. For public transportation users, you can get off at the Ashland Green Line stop, and walk about 2 blocks east on Lake. For drivers, there is free street parking available all around the area.

2. By Special request from Doug, we can head to the Cobra Lounge around 5:00 when they open. Cobra Lounge has some pretty kick ass food, for those that don't want to partake in what The Bottom Lounge has to offer. You can either leave your car by Bottom Lounge and walk there (It's only about 2 blocks away), or there's also a bunch of free parking available by Cobra Lounge if you want to drive over there from the Bottom Lounge.

Cobra Lounge address is:
235 N Ashland Ave.
Chicago IL 60607

It's located 1 block North of the Ashland Green Line stop for anyone taking public transportation, and there's plenty of free parking available on Fulton. The bar is right on the corner of Ashland/Fulton.

3. We can leave The Cobra Lounge around 6:15-6:30. It's up to you whether you want to walk to the United Center, or move your car closer. You can keep it over by Cobra Lounge or Bottom Lounge for free, and the walk to the stadium is probably about 5-6 blocks. Or if you want to drive to the stadium, it's probably going to cost you a minimum of $20 to park your car. So I guess depending on weather, you can make any decision you like. It's not any further than the walk we had last year from the bar we were at.

4. After the game, we can probably head back to the same general area and make a decision on where to hang out. Both of these places will probably have shows that would also include some kind of cover, and most likely an age requirement late at night (Sorry Hawg Jr,), so I'm not sure what our options might be for post game. I guess we can kind of just figure that out as we go along, or someone else can plan something post-game. There's a bar inside the United Center that is open an extra hour after the game, so that is always a possibility. Or maybe The Billy Goat?

That should pretty much cover everything. PM me with any specific questions if you want. I'll send out a PM to everyone with my contact info when we get closer to the day of the game. That way you can text me at the bar if you need directions or anything.

I'll be tallying results of how many entries people have in my raffle soon. I've got some nice prizes to hand out for those in attendance. Stay tuned.

So unfortunately over the weekend I found out that something came up on the Saturday of this game that will make it so that I am unable to attend. This, however, means that I have an extra ticket to this game if anyone is interested. I figured I would post this message here in the hopes of somebody from the board either wanting to go or knowing someone else who would be able to attend. I would hate to subject a member of the StubHub buying populace to your pantsless interweb cretins. First of all I would like to apologize to Douchebag and to T-bone, but I will not be able to make it to the game on Saturday. I have PM'd and few of the guys, but Hawg Jr. was asked to go down to St. Louis this weekend to play baseball with a team. He is excited and wants to go, so we are going. Douchebag, thanks again for all of your efforts with organizing all of this as I am sure it will be a hell of a time. T-bone, I am sorry as I know we had talked about you riding down with us, and I told you on the phone it is just something I feel like I need to do for him. Now, I have talked to a few people via PM about my tickets but due to other circumstances they can't use my tickets. If somebody wants my 2 tickets, please let me or Douchebag know. I do not want any money for them, just for someboyd to use them and enjoy themselves at the game.
