If the NBA really cared about ratings they would start their season earlier and/or do more back to backs in the playoffs to get to the NBA Finals before June.

Yeah the solution to the NBA's problems is to add more back to back games. Good call.

It seems a little strange that they have stretches where they play 4 games in 5 days in the regular season, but in the playoffs it takes them two full weeks to play 7 games.

They do that, guys, for TV. ESPN, ABC & TNT spread these games out for a reason.

It's annoying though. And as far as ratings go June is like the desert of deserts. Most of the prime time TV shows all end in May.

While there appears to be a degree of disconnect regarding whether Derrick has truly been cleared to return from his torn ACL, I bet Rose is picking the right spot for him to make his return official.

That might be it, Phil. Bulls/Lakers-2:30P Sunday. The second game of an NBA/ABC doubleheader that starts with Celtics/Thunder @ Noon. Who knows?

Regardless of who the Eastern Conference rep is, ABC bosses dont want the Spurs.

So, you're saying ABC wants the Rockets?!? Woohoo!
