There will be several of them available when the Bears pick...as will Te'o after yesterday's work

In that case, they'd better go w/ anyone from Bama.

I wonder if Eifert played himself out of the first round as well. I saw yesterday that one of the draft guys had Ertz rated first and he was only the 29th in terms of overall talent.

Eifert and Nix looked like the only two players on the field for Notre Dame that could play for them in my opinion.

Alabama. Not necessarily start, but get playing time.

That disallowed catch in the first quarter was pretty athletic for a guy his size.

I don't know. Te'o is probably better than Nico Johnson. One of NDs OT is supposed to be first round talent but will be returning to school. I think he is just surrounded with stiffs like Golic's 5th year senior son. The thing about Alabama is that not only their starter really good but his backup is probably even better.

I'm sure there are others who could, but those two stuck out to me as not looking lost out there.

ND has a lot of pro talent on that team too, but they looked outmatched at virtually every position.

Yes. Riddick and Wood will both be RB on NFL rosters next year but neither looked better than the two deep on alabama.

I think either OG Cooper or Warmack will fall to the Bears. Emery better not fuck it up and miss on it again this year.

(CBS) NFL free agency officially begins Tuesday afternoon, and the rumors are beginning to swirl.

According to a report from the Tribune, the Bears could pursue Vikings right tackle Phil Loadholt, if the veteran offensive lineman makes it to free agency.

The Tribune cites an NFL source who said the Bears are “hot on Loadholt.”

A 2009 second-round draft pick, Loadholt has started 63 of 64 games at right tackles for Minnesota.

The Tribune’s Brad Biggs speculates the price for the 6-foot-8, 343-pound Loadholt could reach nearly $6 million per season.

Should the Bears sign the 27-year-old, four-time Pro Bowler?

Report: Bears Interested In LT Jake Long - CBS Chicago
chicago.cbslocal.com
According to a report from the Sun-Times' Sean Jensen, the Bears have interest in free-agent tackle Jake Long.

The Bears have "reported interest" in just about every top linemen. Good sign I guess, but means nothing. 3pm should be interesting.

My guy is 100% certain they'll either get a free agent or draft an offensive lineman in the draft. Maybe both.
