i dont follow f1 either for those same reasons, but when i do get to watch it on tv i think its totally amazing. but who gives a fuck if you dont know the drivers? every last one of them have 10x the talent of the best nascar drivers. well, besides the one/s that came from that sport of course.

f1 is god damn hellride. it is balls out, absolutely the highest form of racing on the planet. it looks exotic because it IS exotic. it is precision machinery being pushed beyond its limits. its just insane every moment the green flag is out. it truly makes nascar seem like bumper cars, and thats why nobody else on the planet takes it seriously.

plus, something is funny when you watch f1. most of the cars are the same speed. its nothing like nascar where you have one or two guys every week that seem to have 50 more horsepower and they just blow by everyone. in f1 there is so much more emphasis on the driver it simply makes for better entertainment because its REAL.

no were not debating that. were debating if shes good for nascar, and i think were arguing two different points.

good for todays wwe nascar? yes.

good for what nascar used to be? no.

good for racing in general? HELL NO. it sends the wrong message. "hey kids! if you wear slutty clothes and get daddy to pay for bmw driving school you can be a star too! you dont even have to actually race either!"

so you have no idea what racing is then, great. here we go again, getting even dumber this time.

jimmie johnson is the only one who is so fucking good at that style of racing it doesnt even matter if the game is rigged in favor of other drivers. he pops out at the end and wins because he has been racing exactly the same way since childhood.

everyone else in nascar sucks. yeah, theres some great drivers- kyle bush, brad keslowski, stewart, ect but they dont place consistently because the game isnt about who the best driver is. its weighted to be exactly equal on all payscales and then secretly tweaked every week to favor whatever driver they want to favor. it is exactly the same thing as the wwe except the outcome isnt guaranteed, the publicity is. even if the driver they wanted to win doesnt, you damn well know who they wanted to win every week because all of the coverage is biased toward them throughout the race.

its just a show. nothing more. it is not a real game, it is not real racing. you all have nicknames for the drivers and you get emotional about their sponsors. the whole thing is a grand show for people who just want to watch reality tv but dont want to admit it.

which is what pisses me off the most, because many "fans" are fans. they remember the sport decades ago when it was grand. when it was real. the damn manufacturers were competing to see who could be the best. that right there creates two rivalries for every driver. you think people even notice what manufacturer is next to their drivers name on the tv these days? i dont even notice.

so, i think, if you claim to be a real fan of nascar, then stop buying into this idea that bad drivers are good for the sport. danica patrick is ruining nascar for her own greed, and nascar is letting it happen for their own greed. the fans let it happen because they are FUCKING STUPID.

i doubt danica could ever finish an f1 race. that guy just wants to use her, and watch her die in a wreck. THAT would spring F1 into the american public eye... of course he wants her in the league.

She did a good job of staying out of the way and letting the competitive drivers wreck and blow tires. If the entire race went green she would have finished where she qualified. That is too good of a team and a car to go 5 laps down with clean racing all day.
