Bristol sold out 55 consecutive races up until 2010. Its amazing how NASCAR has gone from being the hottest ticket in sports just a few years ago, to half empty race tracks. The racing has been terrible the last 2 years & people aren't willing to pay $75 to see lousy racing. NASCAR attendance is down, & the only way to fix it is to lower ticket prices. NASCAR thought Danny would save the sport. They were wrong. NASCAR fans don't buy into gimmicks like Sweetcheeks.

The economy is the reason IMO - not the racing, on track product or weather

And people would rather watch it on tv. Dammit KS, don't ignore me.

When will Miller get it right and send Bad Brad out in this?

It would send Nascar fans into a beer guzzling frenzy like we haven't seen in decades.

KS, I think you need to step yo game up. Apologist is coming for the 2nd chair, and you know Don is paying attention.

Not coming for anyones seat, especially not going anywhere near KS' backside..

I'm more like the Aramis Ramirez of NASCAR. I do all of my best work when it matters little. During the Silly Season and the weekdays. And at 3am

The #10 car's practice speeds are on pace with those of the start and park cars today at Auto Club Speedway.

DW basically just said its time for the #10 car to produce. He doesn't want to hear any excuses. He wants results from that team.

That 54 is gonna fuck up the nationwide circuit something fierce. Kyle got his head out over his skis trying to do it all by himself last year, but now that he's back with the gibbs boys he's got the research/tech/staff to give him a top-5 car way more often than not, and he can obviously drive better than all of the other guys on the tour.... so even running a ~60-75% schedule i bet if he was able to get points in the nationwide series he'd win the whole damn thing.

I haven't had time to photoshop a 10 hat onto an image of Taguchi as of yet.

Feel free to use whatever in the interim...

I can tell just from those pictures that she is a nicer person and better driver than who is currently guiding the #10 car to 40th place starts and 30th place finishes.

Martinsville is in 2 weeks, correct? Probably a good thing for him, I bet he would not have been allowed to race this week if he had any type of head injury.

I believe most, if not all of the concern is about his back. I'm monitoring this closely so you don't have to.

JGR says Hamlin has L1 compression fracture following wreck. Hopes to be released today and fly home. TBD on status for Mville.

Damn!

At least his head didn't fall off.

Logano should be suspended for a week.

Per a post on FB by a JR group NASACAR gives no penalties/fines for last race's goofiness.

Not to state the obvious, but this could be a season ender for Hamlin. I wonder who his replacement is?

If it were a confirmed season ender then I would sign Dinger for the rest of the season. He has been kicking ass in the 51 for the few races they have hired him so far.
