Sometimes Jewel will have a few good deals on items with coupons. Dominick's does also have some good deals with their JustforU thing. The people who aren't very smart I think are the ones who are dropping $50 to $200 at Jewel, Dominick's, Whole Foods, Costco, Sam's Clubs, etc. The way that you save money is by using coupons on sale items or by shopping stores with everyday low prices like Aldi. The more expensive grocery stores will have better sales than your low price places and during the sales the prices will often times go lower than at the low price store. The best way to shop is to stock up on things when there is a good sale and then you have food in your cabinet and freezer when all the stuff is more expensive. Also if you stop at a few places and get the loss leaders at each place then you're going to save money. Walmart actually pricematches other store's ads, so you can take your ads there and get all the deals from the neighboring stores.
