Those are fair criticisms, Farvio. I'll say this:
Regarding Melo, of course I'd love to see him in a Bulls uniform but let's face it: That's very unlikely to ever happen. Rose going to New York would be more feasible.
The reason I underrate the Bulls compared to New York is because Melo+Shumpert+Smith+Chandler is better than Rose+Noah+Nobody Else. I understand I'm being very meatballish in my negativity here, but I've never claimed not to be an NBA meatball.
Perhaps I'm underestimating Rose, but it's been so damn long since I've seen him play at 100% that I don't even know what the fuck it looks like anymore. And then I think back to that Miami series and how the Heat were able to offensively put the Bulls on ice after game 2. The Bulls can't win a championship if they can't score against teams that try on defense.
A lot of this is frustration.
I hear you. You're a negative Bulls Meatball, and I'm an optimistic one. We're bound to clash. I disagree with your estimation of the core players though, obviously. I'll take Noah/Rose over Chandler/Melo. I'm still not sure what Iman is. JR is just a guy, I dont consider him a whole lot better than Bellinelli. Like Nas said, we have more flexibility than they do with our amnesty and with Deng coming off the books after next season. I'm 97% sure the Bulls will be significantly better than the Knicks in 2014.
