I hope you're right. I heard David Schuster suggest on the latenight SCORE with Wayne Randazzo last night that if Derrick Rose isn't playing by April 1st, there's no point waiting any further. Thursday's game vs. Portland is one of just 16 games left on the Bulls' schedule and time might run out before Rose decides to test his knee.

Maybe all the time on his back has stretched him out. Maybe if he stays out till next season he'll be 6'5".

Speaking of which, did anyone ever see that story on TV about the guy who got rods put in his legs to make him taller? It sounds like he's cracking his legs, but he has to make like 20 turns to give him the proper height for the day.

The SCORE's David Schuster said last hour with Mac & Finfer that he thinks Derrick Rose returns next Sunday, March 31st. It's a rare Sunday night home game vs. the Pistons at United Center that night.

I say Derrick Martell Rose returns a few games sooner than that. I predict the Bulls' guard returns, barring any further setbacks, next Wednesday. It's an NBA/ESPN game vs. the NBA Champion Miami Heat, likely bringing a 27 game win streak with them.
