[RANT] For some reason it totally annoys the crap out of me that no mention of any suspensions is made on-air.

When guys are on vacation, the fill-ins always say that they're filling in for X & Y who are on vacation. When someone is suspended, it's like they don't exist. For example, Carm earlier today saying (paraphrased):

Carm & JD in for the vacationing guys this week. Jurko & Harry will be back on Monday.

Did Mac just magically disappear?

If you're going to grab your balls, suspend someone, & talk about it to the print media, then have the balls to announce why an on-air personality is not currently on the air. [/RANT]

You can thank management for that. I have no idea why management is so afraid to just admit what most people listening to the show already know. They don't need to devote a show to his suspension, but I don't think it causes listeners to drive off the road by repeating something that has been printed in the local newspapers.

I agree. It's insulting to the people who listen and actually know what's going on.

It's like when Boers had his contract dispute and almost left the Score, Bernstein kept saying, "Raymont Harris in for the vacationing Terry Boers." We knew why Terry was out and it wasn't because he was on vacation.
