How many of you great fantasy players ever pay for a service or buy a fantasy magazine? Stats say out of the 15 Million guys playing fantasy sports the average person spend $154..... Why would any of you spend a $1.00 if you have been playing fantasy sports for 20+ years? Based on that you have all you need. I will wager any of you my top 20 rankings across the board for all positions vs. the one you come up and not copy and paste from service or book your purchase.

Fair points, Ed. Whether it be a stockbroker, a gambling advisor or a fantasy football advisor, people who do their homework can provide a valuable service. Just to clarify, I don't have a problem with "young" per se. I have a problem with pretentious plugs and shameless self promotion. Deep himself proved my point. I don't need to say any more.

I would hope your fantasy analysis is much better than your baseball management analysis.

This would be an interesting addendum to the wagering section during football season. Anybody want to volunteer his computing skills to keep a running tab? We could keep it to just QB, RB and WR for simplicity sake. All top 20 positional lists must be submitted no later than September 4. Make it a kind of beat the champ.

The two big questions; 1. What is the scoring format for the players 2. what is the scoring format within our competition.

This could be fun.

I would take that bet too, Dolphin.

Speaking of that, can we get another CSFMB fantasy league going? I didn't make the cut for the other one.

Nas, as the keeper of our fantasy league, I think you should set odds on the players. As the winner of the league two years ago and winner of the regular season last year, I am too close to it to be objective. You, however, as a playoff loser two years ago and an also-ran last year, are probably in a more objective position to set the odds.

Does the average person really spend $150 on fantasy football materials each year? I MIGHT buy one magazine before a draft, then I use the materials provided by the league and combine it with my own knowledge. I am no worse than competitive using these tools.

Yeah, if you count the $125 buy-in for my league.
