I can't help myself from going Beardown (dammit, what has this board done to me!?) but I think there a racial aspect to this. Jarvis Jones will get a pass for having a slow 40 b/c of his tape. He. is. a. stud. While Te'o still sucks and his 40 will still discount his tape.

You have to dig deeper into Dan's biases on this one. He is strongly anti catholic, especially ND. This is his anti Teo fuel.

Everyone seems to love Ogletree as well. He didn't run much better than Te'o and his game is based in athleticism.

Notre Dame pro day is next Tuesday. At this point, I think Manti is still a late first rounder simply because of the weak draft class at ILB. He'll have a chance to move up if he runs better.

It's interesting - he did have a rough game there, but there were several plays in that game that he actually had the right read and just missed making a big play.

He is not 6'2" 250#s

A lot of athletes have an inch or two padded to their actual numbers. He is 6' ¾ inch n probably 225 ish. I don't want him here unless he drops to the 4th or 5th round. I think he gets drafted early/mid second round.

As we have seen it's pretty easy to find decent replacement LBs. So no, I would not draft a LB unless he was a sure fire superstar, somebody like Aundray Bruce or Keith McCants.
