Yeah that was $4.99 too. I enjoyed spinning it this morning, it has all the songs I was hoping for on it.

Awesome.

Such a great lyricist.

I go back and forth on he and Nas being the GOAT, so its perfect that they are releasing and album together eventually.

Also, the other night Africa by Toto and this song came up back to back

Both mention Kilimanjaro

Weird.

The new Krokus album is fantastic! Mark Storich's voice hasn't lost a thing. Sounds like Powerage era AC/DC.

I'm also digging the new Adrenaline Mob covers record.

I didn't really process Jason Molina's death when I found out about it a couple of days ago, but it's really hitting me now. I want to put on Magnolia Electric or Didn't It Rain after this, but I'm not even sure I can make it through the version of "Being in Love" on this one.

This new Low album is the first time I've really gotten into a Low album. Thanks, producer Jeff Tweedy! "Just Make It Stop" is my song of the year already.

Northside_Dan is kidding right?

I caught the end of his hour long commercial on the CW for this new album (hosted by Ryan Seacrest,he's everywhere!). The music is like smooth jazz which most of America listens to while getting their teeth cleaned. Heard one song,Mirror that was passable at best.

New Strokes album is waiting on my doorstep. Didn't even know there was a new Strokes album until I saw it on Amazon last week.

I really was impressed with Angles after their long delay. We'll see how the new one is...haven't even heard a snippet yet.

I did not like Angles at all. I listened to half the new album last week. Pitchfork was streaming it. The half I heard impressed me more than Angles. So I assume that means you won't the new one

Not true. You'd be hard pressed to find a bigger Strokes fan than yours truly. Just saying that Angles left a lot to be desired, especially after such a long layoff.

That they're just okay is what makes them fucking awful. It's like listening to people talk about the Foo Fighters "saved rock and roll." It's always "and roll," too. Rock in and of itself never needs saving; Rock And Roll is this perpetually endangered species that needs to be preserved, evidently by making unambitious guitar-based music. If only saving the manatees were that easy!

I will agree that Foo Fighters and The Strokes are overrated.

I like both though

Throw Wilco in there too
