IU 1-7 from 3. Hulls has 0 points. They need to pound inside to get 'Cuse cheating so their long ass arms won't block Hulls' snipes.

Their strategy of passing at people's feet needs to stop too

4-4 pounding inside, and 2 quick fouls for Cuse.

We still in this RFDC!

Fred Hoiberg, Iowa State agree on 10-year deal

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Fred Hoiberg will remain the symbolic Mayor of Ames a while longer.

The highly successful Iowa State men's basketball coach and the university agreed to a new contract Thursday night, a 10-year deal worth a total of $20 million through 2023. He has a record of 62-39 in three seasons as a head coach.

"I wanted to be here," Hoiberg said in a telephone interview after the contract was announced Thursday night. "I'm thankful this deal got done. I'm excited to be the coach of the Cyclones for a very long time."

This was outstanding news to wake up to this morning...

Didn't really have a problem with this after the opening weekend but I'd say having three teams in the Elite Eight (assuming Louisville holds this lead) is pretty impressive...

if self was better coach his guy wouldnt have passed up a contested layup at end for a contested three point heave. bad fundamentals.

Not coaching - Elijah Johnson. Before OT he had 3 turnovers in a 90 sec span during the last 2 and a half minutes. The 4 minutes prior to that Self was screaming at his guys to keep scoring. They got away from points in the paint for McLemore and Johnson to keep shooting from the perimeter. Self said that last play was the play he drew up. I don't agree with it, but it was so poorly executed that you can't put that on him. The only thing I blame Self for was even having Elijah on the floor at all. Kudos to Michigan though and Tre Burke. That shot he hit from beyond NBA 3 was insane. They hung in there and made a great comeback, no sore losing from this Jayhawk.

Yes. It flamed out. Here's the main predictions:
Difference score final four: Louisville, Gonzaga, Kansas, and Indiana. Kansas wins over Louisville
Absolute Value final four: Michigan St, Gonzaga, Kansas, Indiana. With Gonzaga over Indiana

The only good news is that it predicted Arizona to be a team to ride to the sweet sixteen.

Watching Wichita State collapse is like a terrible car accident. A fascinating car accident.
