I wholeheartedly disagree. This state is second to North Dakota on the list of worst states I have been to.

Obviously you have never been to Indiana then

Not enough to actually count. Driven through there. People actually stop and spend time there?

Who cares about states?

Denver and Seattle are much better cities.

Right, if youre insane or have a fetish for mediocrity

See, someone from Denver or Seattle wouldn't react that defensively. Just one of the many superior traits they offer.

Low self esteem is not a superior trait.

There are 3 world class cities in the United States.

L.A. is pretty close to being kicked out of that club

I believe it was JORR who said world class cities usually don't feel the need to constantly refer to themselves as world class cities.

I was only in Memphis for a night. It was 4th of July and Beale Street was rather cool...

Memphis is fine but seriously if Green Bay is in your top 5 cities I have to question your credentials for this conversation.

Actually, that's dismissive and I dont like that.

What do you like about Green Bay?

I admitted the GB selection was a joke. I couldn't name a 5th likable city. What do you have against Memphis?

I like the Packers. And the town folk are nice enough, if not a bit simple. But I already answered yes when you asked if it was a joke.

It's just pretty dirty/scummy. I will admit to not spending a ton of quality time there only passed through on a couple of occasions. Perhaps I need to rediscover the hidden jewel of the Mississippi. I support the idea of Beale St more than the actuality of Beale St.

Was in Memphis 2 years ago and it was completely underwhelming. Beale Street was ok. Maybe being close to Graceland counts for a lot. Nashville was nicer.

Without question. That's why even after you left you willingly chose to come back and live there again and probably will for the rest of your life.

You are getting very confused, FF.

I imagine Lambeau Field is awesome. Green Bay still sucks.
Beale St and some restuarants in Memphis are pretty badass. Overall, Memphis sucks.

Chicago is the greatest city in the world.

Because LA is losing its identity and everything that is good about it. Chicago has problems, but not like LA

FavreFan wrote:

So saying it once in the context of a conversation about favorite cities constitutes "constantly"?

There are several indices that measure this sort of thing and the top three are Ny, La, and Chicago without exception.

Memphis is great for about a 3 block area. The same is true of Detroit.

Chicago is the greatest city in the world.

I'm not confused about anything. I never seriously claimed GB was a great city, and this is like the 4th time I'm clarifying that. From reading your post though, it sounds like you have never even been to GB.

How can you call Chicago the greatest city in the world? Are you well traveled enough to even have an idea? I know I'm not.

There will always be an excuse. You came back. You are likely to stay for a long time.

Why would you willingly move to a place that sucks? That's pretty dumb.
