As the Cubs have 5 games next week, need to know who is going to predict the weather for next week. Gonna need some help here as I dont know the weather people or what they will say, so I assume Cheryl Scott will drop her Wisdom on us, The Overlord Skilling will enlighten us, Mike Kaplan on FOX? Who else we have for the involuntary competition?

BigFan, Mike Caplan (that's his correct spelling) does afternoon weather on ABC7, not FOX32. The poster child for the big & tall meteorologist, Mark Strehl, does morning weather on FOX32's "Good Day Chicago".

There is going to be a stationary front hanging over northern Illinois. Depending on where it is, it could be 38 and cloudy with a breeze off the lake or near 60 and sunny with no wind at wrigley on Monday. Expect those two options until the front is blown out by the next weather system.

Mac used to join Jerry outside the ABC building at State & Lake when Mac was doing afternoons at ESPN Radio 1000 AM. Mac made no secret of he & Jerry smoking from time to time.

I know that Mac & Spiegs have Mike Caplan on from time to time, complete with "Cappy" for the ABC7 afternoon meteorologist, with apologies to the Rolling Stones' "Happy" from 1972 with Keith Richards on lead vocals.

NBC5 Chicago hiring dept. deserves a shoutout for putting together a pretty impressive group of hotties. They got the weather women hotties, reporter hotties, Noon day hotties, didn't they steal the WGN morning traffic reporter semi blond hottie too?

But does that offset Larry?!?

His TV presence is usually just weekend work, so I can watch and not get too creeped out. I honestly don't think he does a bad job on TV when he talks sports. The banter with anyone else makes me itchy, but that is probably because of the influence the board has placed on my conscience. Then he talks about his banter on his show and I immediately lose some respect for him. "Look at me, cool guy in the room" talk...don't like it.

Laurence usually anchors sportscasts Saturdays 5 & 10P, as well as Sundays 5P with Dick Johnson, Lauren Jiggetts & the aforementioned Cheryl Scott. Holmes also co-anchors "Sports Sunday" with the bumbling, stumbling Mike Adamle Sundays 10:30P.

Not this weekend though. Get this...With The SCORE broadcasting Dial Global/NCAA Radio Network coverage of the Final Four Saturday night & the NCAA Championship Game Monday night, Holmes, the voice of DePaul basketball Zach Zaidman & "Mac & Spiegs'" Producer/"Director of Research" Nick Shepkowski will be broadcasting special weekend shows from Atlanta Saturday, Sunday & Monday.

Whether it means The Game's Jason Goff and/or HLN "Morning Express" host Robin Meade joins Holmes & Zaidman is anyone's guess, but one person you'll see a lot of isn't a meteorologist. Newcomer Rebecca Haarlow, who joined Holmes last night on The SCORE, is anchoring sportscasts on NBC5 Friday-Sunday.

Are you referring to Tammie Souza, Jimmy? Tammie's the weather woman who worked at NBC5 & FOX32 a few years ago. Tammie then became Chief Meteorologist at CBS affiliate WTSP in Tampa, but then got homesick and replaced Chris Sowers over a year ago as FOX32's Weekend Meteorologist when Sowers' own contract was NOT renewed at WFLD.

For the record, Tammie is absolutely gorgeous.
