I haven't heard the speech and I don't know if this is the Chicago reference in there, but I do know Chicago had a huge influence on Dave Grohl. I've seen them three times in Chicago. He's told that story at every one of those shows.

Yeah, I saw them about 10 years ago at Metro. He told the story at that show, and then said they will be playing the Cubby Bear on their next tour.

I feel like this one might take a few more listens before I can rate it.
TFL are a band that I used to LOVE, then got sick of the same ol' schtick, but I'll still listen, kinda like R.E.M.

although I will say this- I was pretty surprised at Heady Fwends.....that was pretty good

NFG on the other hand.....what a fine album. I had nfg overload 10 years ago but after stepping away for a few years I can really rock out to them again. Their last release was pretty good after a few rough albums.
