Listening to the LAW, just reported from a fan, that he heard from some of the Rock's people that this was the Rock's last match, schedule too intense.

I thought this was a real solid show.

I love Shield going over and I look forward to see what they do from here.

I am not sold on Fandingo yet, but he was impressive. But also gotta remember that Jericho can make anyone look good.

I cannot stand Del Rio and I definitely hope Ziggler cashes in that MITB tomorrow and beats him.

Taker and Punk was good, not as good IMO as Taker/Shawn or Taker/HHH, but still pretty good. I thought Taker looked damn good for not having wrestled for a year.

IMO Lesnar and HHH was the best match of the night. Lesnar really impressed me. It seems he has really grown as an in ring performer since his first go around in the E. And Heyman was brilliant in both matches he was a part of.

Cena and Rock was decent, but it was tough following Taker/Punk and HHH/Lesnar.

I found the whole damnable affair to be dreadfully unentertaining, or to borrow from Peter Griffin, I found it to be shallow and pedantic. As a loyal Cubs fan, I'm more than acquainted with the idea of 'wait until next year', which after that 4 hours of dreck I reckon I'll have to.

It was another in a long line of average WrestleManias.

The top three matches were okay, with Punkertaker being great.

The rest of the matches were just meh.

I think some of you guys were so convinced it was going to be below average to average that has skewed your view on it.

I think as far as recent Manias go it was above average. It was not great. But I think to group it with some of the other average Manias is being unfair as well.

Admittedly I missed the last two matches, but other than Taker/Punk nothing stood out as being exceptional or a "Mania Moment". The undercard didn't really do anything other than the Shield getting the much deserved win. It just felt like what a normal PPV should be and not "The Grandaddy of them All!!) PPV. Chris made a good point last night that by not having MITB match anymore it takes away from some of those holy shit moments that we have become used to.

The whole Undertaker Wrestlemania thing bothers me.

Shield had to win and I thought the match itself fell below my expectations. I was surprised it finished when it did. I expected these guys to almost overbook the match. Was the complete opposite. While The Shield is talented I'm starting to lose interest in what their purpose is, if there is one anymore.

All other matches other than the big three would have made for fine main events on RAW.

Taker Punk was great. Better than last year. I think I'm the only one that found taker-h 2 extremely lame. A cage with little purpose and a bunch of chair shots on the back with overacting from HBK. Keep it.

I thought Triple H - Leanar have Taker Punk a run for match of the night. Pleasantly surprised.

I thought Rock Cena was fine. Saying it sucked seems like bashing on them just because its the cool thing to do. Thought it was a better match than last years but probably had to do with Rocks injury first time around.

Overall it was an average Wrestemania. Would have made for a nice Summerslam. Few surprises or memorable/holy shit moments. The build into this show was maybe the worst build ever during the RAW era of the WWE. My expectations were low and I came out entertained in second half of show.

Yeah. It was fine to me. Not great. Not close to horrible. Just fine.
