If the Sox fare this poorly against the remainder NL this season as they did the Nationals, this has "last place team" written all over it. Thank God I only scoreboard check this awful team.

Getting swept sucks, but its not like they got swept by the Yankees or some shit. The Nationals are a damn good ballclub, certainly one of the top 2 or 3 in all of MLB.

That said, the Sox had chances to win especially last nite. Gotta try and go 4-3 on the rest of this trip.

I didn't say they would "be in some trouble." I said they would be godawful in a Cubs way. Truly horrific 95-100 loss teams have nothing. Sox at least have two good (but fragile) starters.

I would say that at least 28 team in MLB would be a shitshow if they lost their #1 and #2 starters for any length of time.
