Kind of funny actually. Seems people started drinking tea a certain way (sweetened or no) and seem to hate the "other way". IF one is forced to drink this sweetened tea, it must include fresh mint.

Son, in this world there is right, and wrong. Although you are currently wrong, do not despair. You will one day understand that there is no need for mint to take away from the greatness that is sweet iced tea. I won't hold this against you. You can make a recovery.

I love making sun tea with a bag of herbal spearmint tea added to it, or a bunch of Plantation Mint teabags. I cannot drink cold unsweetened tea. Hot tea, of course; you don't adulterate a good cup of darjeeling, but if I'm drinking a big glass of iced tea, it has to have something to it.
