Kobe's injury should prove that anything can happen. If Lebron does the same thing or gets any injury, the Bulls are automatically in contention. The tough kid from the streets in just another rich pampered athlete and a pathetic example of a team mate.

Its kind of funny that a thirty-five year old man is playing every minute of every game trying to get an eight seed. He laid it on the line. Kobe has the will to win. D-Daisy wont even play when he's healthy. D-Daisy has a will to wear a suit when he's perfectly able to play.

A potential concern is that by waiting til next season, DRose is upping the ante in terms of expectations. Like
Babe Ruth pointing at the center field fence, or the Heat having a celebration before winning anything---anything less than a HR or an NBA title or DRose circa 2011 proves a disappointment.

No idea why the Bulls organization apparently didn't see this coming and so did not have D Rose prepared to come back slowly, incrementally--playing 10 minutes a game to start, maybe. Instead, apparently, Rose wants to wait until he can (in his mind, at least) play at an MVP level from game 1.
