I didn't realize they were no hit in the first game. I watched a little of game 2. It was a good game until the Hogs started kicking the ball around. They need to sweep A&M this weekend.

Did you go to the Vandy game this week?

That was 2 weeks ago, they killed Middle Tennessee State and got revenge. Arkansas is just a big disappointment this year, right when it seems they get one thing fixed, something else pops up. Just not a really good team unfortunately.

Yeah it was. I think you pushed the panic button a little early, Hawger. Stanek fooled us again. He's back in form and throwing the hell out of the ball though I'd like to see him conserve his pitches a little more. Ficociello is strating to really swing it and who the hell is the Jordan Farris beotch?? Your Hogs are gearing up for another run at Omaha.

The Hogs are on ESPNU again today at 1:00pm. Illinois vs Ohio State is on the Big Ten Network at 11:00am.

Dammit I knew they were on and just completely forgot as I was out at a party. They need to get more consistent, although they do have all of the pieces. I will be watching today.

So Vandy has lost mid-week games to Tennessee Tech and Middle Tennesse State, doesn't make a lot of sense.

No it doesn't considering they have a couple pretty good weekday starters in Walker Buehler and Philip Pfeifer though they are handling Louisville tonight. 6-1 in the 7th but that's because Louisville didn't start my guy Kyle Funkhouser.

Yeah, Vandy threw a Freshman from California our game. He threw 91-92, but really struggled with this command. It was very cold night and I wonder how much he has pitched in the weather. I can' recall his name, sorry.

Stanford vs ASU is on ESPNU tonight at 9:00pm. Mark Appel vs Trevor Williams. Appel is a potential 1-1 and Williams is a potential 1st rounder. This should be a real good one.

Appel is a freakin stud. I still can't believe seven teams passed on him last year. The team that drafts him this year won't need him until 2015 but he could be in a big league rotation this year.

Austin Wilson is very interesting. He was a lock for a top 10 pick coming into the season but he got hurt and missed half the season. He's a prototypical RF with an enormous combination of power and speed with a very strong arm but there are serious questions about how much swing and miss he has (he just struck out swinging). He could go anywhere from #10 to #30.

The way he works (especially in these mid/late innings tonight), that's not really even a question. His stuff is electric.

Hou-ston Astros, Hou-ston Astros....would be nuts not to take him

Darius Day out of Simeon is like a thinner version of that kid. He'll be hell for Arizona in 2 years.

He may start out playing both ways but I like Darius better as a pitcher. He's got very good command and he should be able to add some more velocity. He's going to be very good for Arizona.

Was really hoping for a sweep this weekend at Kentuckt, but anytime you win 2 of 3 on the road that is a good thing.

They should have swept Kentucky. They blew the 2nd game of the doubleheader in the bottom of the 9th. Your Hogs have to beat up on Tennessee and Auburn the next two weekends to stay in the running for a national seed.

Well if they are the team people thought they were, they will do that and get ready to go. It is time. They are starting to play pretty well and our bullpen won't blow many. I would take them over anybody.
