TP, that's what Mariotti called him...I'm not making this up. Before he had issues of his own, Jay always took shots at BOTH of Jerry Reinsdorf's teams and the way he conducted business, regardless if it was the White Sox or the Bulls.

Mariotti did, I've never really heard B&B call out Reinsdorf.

They don't. They praise him for "closing business deals" and yell at people for not giving him money.

As he signed off his interview, Len Kasper told B&B to "just lay off Reinsdorf." Pretty funny stuff.

Kasper is class and a much better broadcaster than Hawk.

If Len Kasper didn't say yes to the Cubs' job about 9 years ago (Has it been that long?), Matt Vasgersian would've been the TV voice of the Cubs.

It's crazy its been that long. His run is longer than Chip's.

The problem I see with Hawk is he essentially panders to the lowest level of hard core white sox fans and does very little to draw in new or younger viewers. Upgrade to virtually any new broadcast booth with Stoney, it would pull in Hawks core fans, plus draw the opportunity to bring in new fans.

For example the Cubs booth, with Len and Bob, they would often be talking pop culture and music and give something other than old baseball lore. Even with Deshaies, they are still pounding on the new statistic metrics and when I was young I knew everything about baseball stats. That is the way to grow and develop a new loyal core of rabid fans.

I admit.

I loved Convoy.
