KS, we need to apologize to Redskingreg. It was about the time that he stated with all of his disdain for our team that the winning streak started. Redskingreg is a great man!!

Thanks Hawger. No, I wasn't involved. I did have some trouble with my dump truck last night though.

Euphemism?

Kraverz? My college buddy's go-to place whenever I'd visit him since you could kill two birds with one stone. Liquor at Ottos then burgers next door.

The Brewers hit 5 homeruns and 3 triples last night, first that had been done since 1958.

I wished they would have been doing that illegal shit the first home stand of the year when they went 1-5.

I really hate to disappoint you, but the Milwaukee Brewers will never win a World Series again.

EDIT: Of course, the use of the word "again" was inappropriate, as they have never previously won a single World Series title, much less twenty-seven (27). I guess I was thinking of the Milwaukee Braves, a team that loved playing in Milwaukee so much that they left town.

I was in attendance yesterday. Had a great time. Only one real noggin in the bunch. Some guy in the bathroom who could barely put together a complete sentence. He ended up throwing a wadded up paper towel at my buddy. We didn't get engage. A few minutes later, Drunky McDick was hunched over at the beer counter, passed out. I think he was escorted out shortly after that.

Congrats to Jean Segura, named NL Player of the Week for 5/6-5/12 (10-20, .500, 2hr, 2rbi, 5 runs, .950 SLG, .545 OBP).

Best trade ever!

Awesome, but the wheels have fallen off of the wagon. Their pitching staff couldn't get me and you out.

I was a pretty good ballplayer Hawger.

Rumor has it that is true.

Stones, Adam Dunn would hit .400 against this staff. :x

What about Dan Bernstein? Would he turn on, and rake, a Brewers' fastball?

He has been incredible, he keeps hitting but unlike Castro he has made only 1 error. :D

boy, that angels rental of zack greinke is working out even better than everyone already thought, eh?

segura is a bitch at the plate right now. i've had the motivation to watch him go as he's on my co-flagship fantasy team, and i'll be damned if he isn't playing like a guy who wants to be rich. once they put him in that 2-hole in front of braun he responded by going ~5 straight games with a steal. then he started hitting home runs. and now he's stealing again.... 3 last night!

of course, go figure that he managed to go 3-5 with 3SB last night and not score a run.... c'est la vie. and defensively he isn't considered an andrelton simmons type... but still, smoke 'em if you got 'em senor segura!

I've seen limited Jean Segura plays in the field...but Castro seems to be the more explosive fielder.

I will disagree with you here, I have seen nothing of what you are saying and I have seen mostly all of the games. I didn't do this to start a Castro/Segura battle, both are pretty talented young short stops.

Lohse to miss start with elbow issue

Kyle Lohse will miss his next Brewers start with what manager Ron Roenicke called “irritation” in the veteran’s right elbow, a potentially troubling development considering Lohse is nine starts into a three-year, $33 million contract. He began feeling discomfort “two or three starts ago,” Roenicke said, and was recovering slower than usual between starts.

Another right-hander, Mike Fiers, will take Lohse’s turn on Saturday against the Pirates at Miller Park. Lohse is tentatively scheduled to return to the rotation for one of the Brewers’ games at Minnesota next week.

“He could go out and pitch,” Roenicke said. “But because he didn’t have a Spring Training, we would rather try to get rid of this, so we’re going to bump him a start.”

Is an elbow issue a red flag?

“He didn’t seem that concerned about it, so I’m hoping that it’s not that big a deal,” Roenicke said.

Lohse is 1-5 this season despite a respectable 3.79 ERA, mostly because he has the worst run support (2.11 runs per game) of the 59 National League starters with enough innings to qualify for the ERA title. The Brewers are 2-7 when he starts and have scored eight total runs in the seven losses, with more than one run in only two of those games.

Fiers started the season in the Major League pitching’ rotation but was bumped to the Minors after losing his season debut against the D-backs, then recalled to the Brewers’ bullpen when left-hander Tom Gorzelanny was placed on the disabled list. Fiers was the winning pitcher Tuesday night after escaping a bases-loaded, one-out pickle in the fourth inning and going on to work 1 2/3 scoreless frames against the Dodgers.
