I don't think the Bostic pick is malpractice in the same way the Long and McClellin picks were. I disagree but it is within the realm of reasonableness.

The #1 pick in next year's draft.

I like Bostic. He is a big hitter who gives maximum effort and is a leader. I don't think he has Pro Bowl talent but I think he is a good, solid MLB pick.

My guy at CB was already gone.

I was hoping the Bears were done with this line of thinking. From Emery:

This magical Bears evaluation tool seems to be quite a factor in determining picks. A system that was developed by an assistant strength and conditioning coach, if I'm not mistaken? I'm already sick of hearing about Emery's fucking "system". Angelo really loved his "athletes" too, didn't he. I prefer football players over athletes, but that's just me.

Why can't they hire competent non-weirdos? Why?
