Well, whatever you do, avoid any purchase until Bucky Chris has had a chance to opine. His clear analysis without any bias or ulterior agenda is refreshing.

I couldn't give any opinion of much value on any other tablets. Don't own any, and haven't spent much time with them. I played with the $199 Galaxy in the store and it looked like it had pretty much everything most people would need in a tablet. My wife has the Mini, but I'm not sure the cost is worth it over the Nexus.

We own 3 iPads, and I don't have anything bad to say about them . The biggest props I can give is that my 3 year old has been using our iPad 1 religiously and he hasn't broken it.

Have Droid phone, was kinda cool once I registered my gmail account, everything loaded on the tablet as well.

Asus also has Keyboard attachement you can buy if you start really using it.

I'm looking to purchase a tablet for my wife, for work purposes. Is that keyboard attachment through a USB? What do you think of the keyboard attachment? She will be typing notes often, so this is kind of an important feature.

What do you think about the video taping ability of the tablet?

These are the three most important things:

1. Video taping
2. Ability to type notes easily.
3. USB ports (I have heard that Ipads don't have them)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Frank, I am aware of www.google.com, so you can keep that one in your back pocket until next time.

I got my wife a Toshiba Thrive 2 years ago because of the full size USB port and full SD Card slot. I haven't taken any video with it so I cannot attest to that but the tablet is awesome. Never had an issue.
