White Sox manager Robin Ventura confirmed that Gavin Floyd will be placed on the disabled list with a flexor muscle strain in his right elbow. Hector Santiago will take over Floyd's spot in the White Sox rotation and Deunte Heath will be recalled from Triple-A to join the bullpen.

I believe Stone isn't on the whole sabermetrics thing and stated his thoughts and NO one mocked him like they do the Hawk....I believe Stone said of "Money Ball" Billy Beane won ONE playoff Series.Again case closed....I'm learning more and more about this board :lol:

Blake Tekotte, we hardly knew ye. Lost in the shuffle of yesterday's latest loss to the Rays was that the White Sox optioned Tekotte, an outfielder, to Triple "A" Charlotte after the game. It's believed the Sox will call up another reliever before tomorrow night's road trip starting with the Rangers' Yu Darvish in Arlington, TX. Have fun with that!

Also, Hector Santiago starts the weekend series with the Royals Friday night in Kansas City, says whitesox.com.
