Yes. This is the next logical move. 2 undeniably weird football people signing a weird football player. Tebow's skills are finally utilized by the offensive genius.

Boers and Bernstein would be set with programming for the next year.

I don't think it will be the Bears.

But someone has to sign him, right?

Mike & Mike this morning were talking as if this was the end of his career.

I just don't see that. Some team will give him another shot.

I don't think anyone will want him as a quarterback.

So the Bears definitely should pick him up.

You've got it, Peeps. Thinking outside the box. 1st round pick who's started 4 games? Damn right. This will follow a groundbreaking pattern by the new Bears.

This is my ReVolution.

Considering that many have been suggesting some CFL time, and given that he's at least as good, if not better than the current backup on the Bears, why not?

Wherever he goes he'll be in top 5 of the NFL in jerseys sold, so you know some team will sign him for the minimum just to have that revenue stream bolstered for a season.

Can you imagine the odd couple, Cutler and Tebow. It would be insane!

Don't NFL teams split merchandising profits evenly across the league?

Revenue sharing indeed makes that happen, but if a team is in dire need of accolades to associate with themselves, using this ploy would open up avenues for them to say "our uniforms are among the top 3 (or whatever) in the NFL."

But the bigger picture is that Tebow, at some point or another, will put a few more asses in the seats, playing or not playing.

I didn't follow much sports this weekend and I've been real busy so far at work this morning....but is this really a thing? People really want Tebow as a backup here?

Wow.

I sincerely hope not. I don't think I could take anymore Bernstein Tebow Voice.

I think Trestman was a good hire for what the Bears said they needed after firing Lovie. That being said, I'd be first to create a firetrestman.com website, even before a single game is played, if he advocated for the signing of Tebow as QB.

If the Bears aren't interested in Tim Tebow, who is? Despite the connections to new Bears' HC Marc Trestman & the fact Montreal in the CFL owned Timmy's rights up North, Timmy's NFL career as we know it may be over.

I wouldn't be shocked to see him in Seattle. Carroll seems to ask "why not" when others ask "why".

Tebow could play in Chip Kellys system in Philly.

Their QB stable would be a stable of total opposites. Tebow, Vick, Barkley and Foles?? That would be a weird as hell group.

No he can't. Also, consider the Philadelphia fan base would give Tim the business...and not the most pleasant either.

I didn't understand the Eagles picking Barkley at all. He doesn't fit Chip Kellys Offensive style & Chip would have to change his offense to play him. Barkley was a hell of a value pick in the 4th round though. I'm rooting for the kid.

There were a half-dozen of these stories about the Jets 72 hours before they traded for Tebow.

I STILL BELIEVE

From a business angle, the place Tim Tebow should go is Jacksonville. For starters, he can't be much worse than current starter Blaine Gabbert, can he? Also, they need someone to fill all those empty seats at what's now called Everbank Field.

Once the Jaguars' new GM immediately shot down interest in Tebow, it makes me wonder if they don't want him, who does?

Shark, please give me a thorough explanation on the QB play of Tim Tebow, and not just he can't throw.
