Season 1 hadn't fully developed the concept yet. And Steve Carell hadn't gotten his hair transplant yet, so it's weird to see him thinning in Season 1.

I liked the Basketball in the Warehouse episode from that season though.

Disagree. It was in its finest and purest form in season 1. After that it faded. It took a while to get to not good but that first season was gold

I would say the first two, or two and a half seaqsons were gold. I haven't seen an episode since Carrell's last show.

Ed Helms' singing and ass-kissery was a great part of the show for me.

The 3rd season is my personal favorite, as the Pam/Roy/Jim/Karen saga was just great TV. Season 4 was great with the Ryan power trip, as he became the youngest VP in the history of the company.

I think once Pam and Jim officially got together, things started to go stale.

There are some excellent episodes in 3 and 4.

The one where Daryl coaches Michael up for a raise is hilarious.

Michael Scott also got progressively less funny and more annoying as time went on. For a long time, he was able to be a likable buffoon like Mini Ditka a year ago to an unlikable buffoon like Mini Dikta in his present form. I like The Office significantly better with him gone and I used to think he was great on the show.
