I edited the post and the profanity filter blocked the word gay.

The Nazi and White Supremacist comparisons are bad ones. Gays don't have issues with the church; the church has issues with gays. A more apt comparison would be White Supremacists inviting a black man to a rally. I'm not saying that a church is the KKK. I'm just saying its a more apt comparison because the church is the instigator, not the gay community. Mini Ditka logic fail.

And also a bad comparison because many gay people belong to the Church. Many gay people are Christians whether other Christians like it or not.

I agree, but the fact remains that the gay community never did anything to the church. The entire thing was instigated and continues to be driven by the church, regardless of whether it is all churches or whether there are Christian gay people.

And are you trying to say there aren't black white supremacists? Hard to believe.

I don't think this board has a profanity filter that blocks things with asterisks. Do you have one installed on your computer to block the word gay? If so, that's hilarious.

I think you're wrong for the simple fact that homosexual sex was forbidden long before there was a gay rights community. Sex outside of traditional man/woman marriage is and will be wrong for as long as humans are on the earth. Gay people are welcome to attend church, but the church should not and cannot praise what is evil. Just because society thinks of itself as more socially evolved doesn't mean the Bible or the church has to change. Having a same sex attraction is not a sin, but homosexual relationships are sin and that will not change regardless of what happens with any court of law or public opinion. The bottom line is that it's the gay rights movement that is boycotting Chick-Fil-A. It is the gay rights movement that is trying to change all the laws to justify its movement. It is the gay rights movement that is trying to change all the churches to make its position mainstream and more socially acceptable. But the bottom line is you can hate all the Christians and kill them if you like, but it will still be a sin and against God's law. You cannot serve the true God and the false god of tolerance at the same time.

The Church is for people who sin.

They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.

Hipocracy is a terrible thing. These people decided that the "sin" of homosexuality is worse than the sins that their Pastor and everyone else in that church commit in their daily lives...

Who said being homosexual is a sin?

It's no more a sin than being heterosexual is.

Mini Ditka,
Answer the important questions. Did you have a filter on your browser that turned "gay" into "***"? If so, why?

You believe that some sins are worse than others.

Everyone does. No equates stealing a dozen donuts with capital murder for instance.

Where in the Bible does it rate which sins are worse than others?

A thief is a thief whether they steal a dozen donuts or rob a bank. God doesn't charge misdemeanors and felonies. Sin is sin.
