I don't think we'll ever know the genuine, honest truth in what has become a public relations disaster for the Bulls & Derrick Rose's image. What pisses me off is the lack of communication between the two sides and this CIA-like treatment.

I think Rose is doing what he feels is the safest bet.

If he comes back vs the Nets and they lose he looks like a chump. A few games ago everyone thought the Bulls had this in the bag. Bad play against the Nets is going to be viewed differently than bad play against the Heat. The Bulls are suppose to lose to the Heat. He plays poorly or the Bulls lose in the second round no one will blame him.

What threw a monkey wrench in their plans is all of the sickness and flu that is going around.

I think right now he cannot play, even if he wants too. If he comes back for game 7, well then he should have played in game 6. That extra couple of days is BS. If the Bulls do get past the Nets and he plays game 1 vs the Heat the same question will be asked. Game 6 was the game to come back. At home. The crowd would have been crazy and the energy may have led the Bulls to a victory just on emotion.

The entire thing is a PR nightmare and I don't see a way he can come back this season at all. Honestly, at this point I don't think he should come back. Game 6 was the latest it made sense. If he comes back in game 7 it won't have the same electric effect on the road. It will probably do more harm than good. It will raise the question why he was not playing in game 6. That is a question noe one will want to answer. Let's face it, if the Bulls get to play the Heat, that series is going to be brutal. The Bulls will hammer Lebron James and if Rose is out there Bird man or Haslem will try to take his head off. Playing the Heat in the playoffs is not where you want your first game to be. Nothing good will come from it.
