I try to like this stuff, I try to watch it, but the foolishness continues to take it down race after race.

1. Its wet, we cant race! Tough shit, slow down and race.
2. Its gonna get dark....LIGHTS! BUY SOME! Did they "shorten the race by 10 laps for this?"
3. Every race I watch, they have a crash or 8 in the last few laps and they need to stop, start, restart, pause, etc every race.....sorry, but what is supposed to be the most exciting moment of these events has sucked recently.
4. Did they just award a major race to the guy who was leading when the accident happened, with another lap to go? Feel free to correct me on this one, but thats what it looked like.

Yeah, I want Deathrace 2000 rules for the final 2 laps. It's on, no matter what! Or give these guys a major penalty for the next race if they crash another car in the last 2 races, but this shit just sucks to watch the last few laps when they always crash and the race is 'On Hoooold"

I dont know

Make the roll cages LESS safe so an accident means something these days? You just dont try to cut under everyone knowing it doesnt matter if the car doesnt hold the track and you take out everyone?

If they are willing to cut the race by ten laps, then how about with 10 laps left if you are not in the top 10, you can just shut it down!

I drive a sweeper truck at NASCAR events. Iowa Speedway at Newton Iowa. If it is raining the NASCAR officials want us on the track to try to dry up the track. If the rain has stopped they want us on the track on what they call weeper points. That is points where the asphault and track meet in corners (curves) and suck up water. Sometimes it works sometimes not. I know that a safe track is a dry one. I often pick up a hopper full of rubber on a dry track during the day during trials in June. NASCAR Officials I have dealt with are very easy to deal with and very polite.

This may seem odd, but about a decade or so ago, Score Jr had a Nascar game for his Playstation......and I not only got hooked on that game for a few months, but it also helped rope me in to Nascar, and helped me appreciate pit stops and strategies and so on.

Ever since then, I've been hooked.

It was a video game that hooked me as well.

I'm trying both contests. I'm really bad at Don's and only slightly less bad at Doc's. It has led me to watch a little more than in the past.

As far as the contests go, this link is pretty much a must:

http://www.driveraverages.com/

I have never used any other website when making my picks.

Your comment of "me either" didn't appear until now on my computer, that is what I didn't understand.

How come you don't watch wrestling?

I used to all of the time when I was a kid, but that was Memphis wrestling or the old WCW stuff out of Atlanta with Gordon Solly. I just don't care for it anymore.
