I think she's Dutch.

Guys, "Mr. Multimedia" himself first mentioned Rebecca Haarlow's name on Twitter. It turns out Rebecca is a Chicago native, even though she's best known for doing a great deal of national sports reporting for the likes of FOX Sports Net, FOX-owned BTN & NFL Network before joining NBC5 earlier this year.

You are technically correct. Comcast SportsNet Chicago is part of the NBC Sports Group and I don't think NBC5 bosses are in any hurry to hire the lovechild of Jennifer Love Hewitt & Shannon Elizabeth in Susannah Collins.

If local news shops slammed the door shut when Kerry Sayers' own contract wasn't renewed at CSNC, what makes anyone thinks Susannah gets another chance in this market? Chew on that for a while.
