In light of what Dewskie said in the S&W thread, and thanks to some recent revisitations to AVGN who has saved my sanity the past few weeks, AND in tribute to OKC's new av, I've decided to periodically dedicate a thread to the glory of the Angry Video Game Nerd, James Rolfe.

It'll be the AVGN videos, but there will also be some other threads like his Top 10's, Board James, the Overanalyzers, and the Monster Madness reviews, too.

I'll start with one of the most comprehensive bundles of videos, his REEviews of various consoles & accessories. The site now only allows 3 URL's per post so forgive the multiple postings...

My favorite has to be Plumbers Don't Wear Ties. Just the utter disdain and confusion in his voice cracks me up every time.

I think there's a place for both slapstick and cerebral humor.

I used to enjoy Family Guy. Not very good in recent years. Bob's Burgers is my current favorite animated sitcom. Harvey Birdman is my favorite of all time.

The Bowsers in Worlds 1-7 were fake. That's why when you killed him w/ fireballs, he turned into regular enemies (Goombas, Koopa Troopas, etc.). The Japanese instruction manual (canon) explained the fake Bowsers, but it was left out of the American (devil) version.

i think "archer" is hilarious. but it's also pointless and stupid humor. some of it works, some of it doesn't.
