Hogan's Heroes had lovable Nazis. Archie Bunker was a racist. These characters, and Ralph Kramden, usually got their comeuppance at the end of each episode. I wouldn't say The Honeymooners promotes wifebeating. The show's resident punching bag did.

I doubt it, but it sounds like OKC has a few in the closet that come out on the weekends.

Could I find a million exceptions? Of course...Sinatra, Clark Kent, etc....but if you are under 30 sporting this look, it really is not impressive, just makes me think you are a DB.
