I'd say play the first one because it is a bit better in terms of overall story. It's like an FPS crossed with an RPG in the sense that you get to shoot guns but also get to murder motherfuckers with swarms of crows and bees. The first one may be the most involved story-wise I've ever been with a shooter. Infinite comes in a close third behind F.E.A.R.

Well in the first Bioshock you get to kill a bunch of drug addled addicts that are similar to zombies, it is quite creepy too. Very, very good game that you could pick up for about $10 (that's Bioshock, not Bioshock Infinite).

Okay. It may be $20 new but used it's less than $10. In any case you can Redbox the newest version and really don't need to have played the first game to understand what's happening because they are two different games entirely, beat it in a day and a half, and enjoy yourself for $2.

If you wouldn't mind, compare 3 to 1 (2 was okay, just a quick rehash of 1 playability-wise, imho).

One thing I have some trepidation about is 'battle' whilst riding the elevated rails ... aside from that, do you have any lingering concerns.

Did you mean to indicate that it takes forever to finish the game? If so, is it because of tedious repetition, or something else?
