We're going in July because we're insane. But, there is a cool map that tells you what parks are most/least busy. Highly recommend:

Yeah the fast pass is a miracle worker but even that doesnt always work. We were at Hollywood Studios at like 10am and the fast pass time for the Toy Story ride was already at 6 or 7PM. Just totally nuts.

Yikes, ok. One of our neighbors is a Disney freak, so we are going to sit down with her to plan our days out. Sounds like a big part of that will need to be where we need to go first thing in the morning to sign up for the rides we really want.

Not that this is a big deal, but it sucks that you pull in the parking lot thinking "Were here" and its like another 30-45 minutes before you enter the park

Yea, it will be worse for us too. Using points to stay at an area hotel, so we won't even be staying at a Disney Resort.

Acting like a kid &/or drinking at the "Happiest Place on Earth" sounds incredibly something, but certainly not fun. As for Epcot, it's been about 6 years since I've been, but it seemed & looked a little too much early 80's for me to think it was anything but ratty. But then again, you thought it was a big deal to announce you just had hummus for the first time :|

Worth the money and a great resource. But in July basically you are going to be doing alot of waiting.

Book your dinner reservations as soon as you can, if you wait you will never get them. Yes, I am talking like now if you can.

Do you have to stay off Disney property? You get free parking and early entrance or late exit from the park if you stay on Disney Property. You also have access to the free Disney bus system, but my guess is that will be mobbed in July. The All Star resorts or Pop Century I think run about $150 a night during the summer.

After hearing more to the story. I can find nothing wrong with what they are doing. I mean come on. They are getting paid $1000 per day at Disney? For someone who is probably living on disability or Social Security if they did it once a week they would basically triple their monthly income.

I'm doing it because I have a ton of hilton points, and our stay will pretty much be free. It's definitely not ideal, but only one of our two kids is going to be able to do anything. So the plan is to save spending a ton on Animal Kingdom or something if we can go again in a few years.

Ah, I see. That makes sense. Have fun, good luck with the crowds. I've been there about 6 or 7 times so if you have any questions or anything PM or Facebook me.

I know you've probably already made your decision but staying on property is so much more enjoyable. We checked out of the resort into a hotel since we were going to Universal Studios the next day and it felt completely different once we weren't there. It's not only easier but it feels like you've never really left the park.

Agreed Rick, but then again if it was for (almost) free, I'd deal with staying at a Hilton too.

Totally hear you, and definitely agree. Tbh, I haven't closed the door entirely on the idea of staying on property (watching for a crazy deal), but right now the difference is in the thousands of dollars with how many points I have. If I can close the gap, it will make the decision more difficult.

Because there are no massage parlors in the World Showcase in China or Japan?

See, what I mean. Here is a topic that I am quite sure I asked everyone to drop. EVERYONE.

Everyone knew why, but you cant stop being an asshole...and not only an asshole, one that might actually harm a guy!
