From the same NFL Network that brings you "NFL AM" every weekday morning 5-9A (CT), along with live coverage of the annual NFL Scouting Combine from Indianapolis & the annual unveiling of the regular season schedule in a 3 hour live special, NFLN is presenting live coverage of the...Super Bowl Selection Show? You read it right.

This Tuesday, NFLN will be live from the league's Spring Owners' Meeting in Boston in a 90 minute special called "The Super Bowl Selection Show". I'm not making this up. NFLN's Rich Eisen & Steve Wyche will host the live special starting at 1P (CT) from the network's Los Angeles studios, with reporters Jeff Darlington, Desmond Purnell & Albert Breer covering the announcements from the Hyatt-Harborside Hotel in Boston, site of the league's Spring Owners' Meeting.

The business at hand will involve the awarding of Super Bowl L & Super Bowl LI respectively, and NFLN will be live on the scene as BOTH Super Bowl sites will be announced. The San Francisco & South Florida Committees are eligible to host SB L, which will be awarded first. The committee that's not awarded Super Bowl L will then be eligible for Super Bowl LI along with the Houston Super Bowl Host Committee.

I've gotta think this is the first time NFL Network has ever devoted a special to announce which cities will host the NFL's biggest game.

SHARK, which one do you think will be given to the Packers and Lambeau Field?

I don't know. I'm skeptical Super Bowl XLVIII coming up at MetLife Stadium this upcoming season in the New Jersey Meadowlands is going to work.

Super Bowl LI should be played in Hong Kong.

Well, it's unchartered waters NFLN is planning.

Super Bowl L will be held at the 49ers' new stadium, Levi's Stadium, in Santa Clara, CA in 2016 on CBS. Hard to believe, it'll be the Bay Area's first Super Bowl since Stanford Stadium in Palo Alto, CA hosted Super Bowl XIX in 1985. Houston's Reliant Stadium, which hosted Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004, will host Super Bowl LI in 2017 on FOX.

Will this stadium be made out of denim?

I see what you did there. Levi's actually bought the naming rights for the 49ers' new stadium. The stadium won't be made out of denim, let alone cotton to make those Dockers Khakis of theirs. It actually makes sense considering Levi Strauss & Co. is headquartered in San Francisco.

I thought SHARK preferred Cotton.

I do.

Levi's is spending millions to sponsor the Niners' new home.
