The sound on NBC sucks so hard. No way the United Center crowd is this quiet. I don't know why they turn the crowd sound down on their broadcasts, such a shit way to market the game. The Canadian broadcasts on CBC and TSN are so much better.

I hope that following this season I never see Carcillo in a Hawks uniform again.

I don't know, I watch the Hawks on Sportsnet or TSN when available, and if the Hawks are trailing, it's a church in there. I agree that NBC does a particularly bad job mixing audio no matter where they're broadcasting, but the real night-and-day difference is between "the Hawks have a lead" and "they don't."

Above average. Detroit is pushing back as was expected. Hawks have a little more life in them since Detroit tied it but Detroit is playing a really solid game and having the better game thus far.

All I can say is thank god the Hawks don't have a three goal lead.
