4-1 start to the road trip ends up a disappointing 4-3. Lester and Bucholz going for the Carmines, so I'll say White Sox win 1 :?

Boston Red Sox vs. Chicago White Sox
Monday, May 20, 7:10 PM CDT, U.S. Cellular Field
Jon Lester, LHP 6-0, 2.72 ERA
Dylan Axelrod, RHP 1-3, 4.27 ERA

Tuesday, May 21, 7:10 PM CDT, U.S. Cellular Field
Felix Doubront, LHP 3-1, 6.03 ERA
Jose Quintana, LHP 2-1, 3.97 ERA

Wednesday, May 22, 7:10 PM CDT, U.S. Cellular Field
Clay Buchholz, RHP 6-0, 1.78 ERA
Chris Sale, LHP 5-2, 2.53 ERA

Rongey put something up on Facebook yesterday, said something to the effect of "People are dumb when it comes to Matt Thornton"

I replied that Guillen and Ventura have been dumb with at times.

Leave it to Boston people to drain any bit of sympathy you might have for them with that stupid Boston Strong slogan. Shirts bearing the pithy phrase were on display throuout the park yesterday. Good to see that tragedy can be monetized.

He's awful. Catchers can't continue to backhand balls in the dirt. Part of that is FLowers, and part of that is the coaching, or lack thereof. Its been an issue all season and somebody has to kick his ass into and let him know how to block balls in the dirt at the big league level.
