You won't find that anywhere around during Hawks playoff time. The suburban sports bars are a haven for idiot bandwagon fans who know absolutely nothing about hockey except that 'dem blacks don't play it much.

Pop's in Roselle. One of the better official Blackhawks bars where the people there actually care. I'd say 80-90% of the people there actually care about the Hawks. Have to get there an hour or two before game time if you want a seat. My favorite place to watch the Hawks.

Pop's is solid.

I've had relatively good fan experiences at Bannerman's (yes named after the Hawk) in Bartlett as well.

The little league calendar is clear, so I would be able to make it. Anywhere from Schaumburg to Elgin works for me. Schaumburg has Fox and Hound, Barleycorn, Tilted Kilt, and Westwood tap all in the Woodfield area. Pop's used to have crappy tv's, but maybe they have upgraded since I was last there. There's a Rookies in Hoffman off Rte 59. Bartlett would work for me too. We'll have to see what Imu says.

I'll be tuned in, but the Blackhawks better win this game Thursday night. The last thing they need is to come home 1-3 with Game 5 on NBC5 Saturday night vs. a Red Wings' team that is playing with a great deal of confidence and momentum.

These Blackhawks better get more production from their power play. They went 0-for-4 last night in the Game 3 loss and Detroit goalie Jimmy Howard was nails tough in goal again. They peppered Howard with 40 shots in the loss, but it seems like he's outplaying Corey Crawford, even though it's not all Corey's fault they're in a 1-2 hole.

That was like 5 years ago before they got new owners. Everything changed once they became an official Blackhawks bar.

I might be able to get off work in time to make this one. Settle on a location.

Here's the thing though. Game is at 7. The place will be max capacity by 6. Which means someone has to get there early to hold seats. I can get there at 5:30 but I don't want to be sitting there by myself for an hour or so trying to hold a table or two. Eventually the staff will tell me to go fuck myself. I want to thank Kirkwood, Denis, IMU and Favrefan for coming out tonight. i'm not much of a drinker so when I go out I want to drink hard and I had alot of fun tonight. I can't believe that broad screwed me out of $8. As a cheap person that was so insulting but whatever, it's cool. Thanks to Favrefan for bumming me that cigarette.
