Okay, Ryan... I didn't notice the smiley face. If I wrote what you said... I'm certain it was tongue-in-cheek. I just wouldn't want any other posters/browsers thinking I'm some prick who spends his idle time critiquing the work/habits of others. As for Spaulding or any other critics, while I don't succeed invariably, I do my very best to hear criticism - even the harshest - with an open mind and assess it objectively. The biggest reason I am here is evidence to my want to improve the show and I don't need kid gloves to be worn by the critics. I am more protective, however, of my off-air personna. When I stand before my higher power some day, I doubt my radio show will be a topic. I know how I have treated others will be discussed and I work hard to do the right things there. Beneath the tough veneer is a pretty sensitive, caring, generous guy. That's far more important to me than a tight segment of "Who Do You Love?"

And on an unrelated note.... my number of posts and weights have passed like two ships in the night. 214 elbows this morning, on the way, down to an even two spins. Here's hoping they never meet again.

I really have no idea, he just bugged me. I always felt like he fell down a lot...didn't go for that extra yard. I know he was good as dolphin said. Maybe because he took over for Walter or the season he missed a bunch of games. I can't explain it and I really have no rational other than I just didn't like him. I also have a deep dislike for Jim Harbaugh but that is not entirely without merit.

Ryan don't drag me into this, get your own examples. Your return is wreaking havoc but I like it. I have no desire to get into it with you and a sensitive, caring, generous guy.

The show is a good show and I listen almost everyday. I've been married for 6 years and some shit he does bugs me after 6 years the same stuff on a radio show will bug me too. No biggie.

If he wants to discuss it with us he will. I don't have a need for a response from anybody to validate one of my thoughts.

Let me tell you what I think is your problem. You have appointed yourself the head idiot in charge for calling hosts from either stations smug, arrogant, jerks etc. Yet, in your posts you come off as exactly the same type of person. I often wonder if you understand that.

You're capable of having good thoughts and contributing. I don't get the bug up your ass, confrontational posts.

I don't need a response either, but rather than seeing a rambling post by Mac (on a thread where several of his listeners offered legitimate, constructive criticism) that totally ignores the point of the thread, I think a short, pointed, abrupt question is all that is necessary.

I'm also not the biggest Jones fan in the world, but his average with RISP is pretty solid. There's no question he has the arm of a wimp, but he's been the least of the Cubs problems.

That being said, I'd still love to see another corner OF that has a power bat (Dye) added at the deadline.
