Seabrook with his best game of the season. Being paired up with Keith again looks to of rejuvenated him. Red Wings couldn't forecheck them, their puck control and breakout was too good. Keep it rollin, 2 more.

I guess the few times they do their shots are so fucking terrible and errant they get ticketed wide into someone's shins anyways.

I've groused about this before. 29 teams in this league will win a faceoff, kick it back to a defenseman, and let him wind up and just blast it on net. The other is the Chicago Blackhawks. I know we don't have Shea Weber or Sheldon Souray, but most teams don't and still let their Ds try big slapshots. Hjalmarsson has a nice shot when he takes it.

Obviously Coach Q reads the board...

Best game of the playoffs! Dark side, I made the same comment last night. Detroit looked frustrated as Hell. Lets get this thing back to Chicago!

Was listening to some sports radio this morning that was talking about this series. Said Detroit was going to win tomorrow because of the last change advantage of being at home. I know being at home will be nice for Detroit but I don't think it will really make any difference in the outcome of the game. If the Blackhawks play their game this thing is coming back to Chicago.

Was Mrs Rogue's birthday yesterday so we were at dinner while the game was going on ( by the way, the Turf Room in N, Aurora is highly recommended) so I didnt get to see the game but could hear the cheers from the bar everytime the Hawks scored so I knew it was a good night. From the posts , looks like they returned to form and remembered they they are just fucking better than Detroit. Just hope they can get it to game 7 because I think theyll blow them off the ice . Go Hawks!!

If you can win faceoffs, you can change on the fly. Simple as that.

You know, I've really stuck my neck out on Dave Bolland over the years and he's not helping me here. 5 games, no goals, no assists, -2 on ice, FOURTEEN fucking penalty minutes, 2.2 shots per game. What the hell is he even doing? I'm the farthest thing from a rage-trader because I realize there's no sense in trading someone at his absolute nadir, but man, get this guy off the team if he's not going to do anything. I put up with a shitty regular season where he was expected to be the #2 center because it's okay, he'll turn it on big-time in the playoffs, like Claude Lemieux. Well, then he missed the first round of the playoffs. Then he came back and just took a bunch of dumb penalties. Thanks, man. What happened?

He hasn't been good since 2011, this isn't new. I thought he'd turn it around this season though with the new found responsibility, I was wrong. He's bad. Lazy, disinterested, possibly a long nagging injury...bad.

I have been loving me some Bickell during the playoffs. He is getting good strong hits in without being dirty and getting penalties and he is active offensively with some scores.

Fortunately, Shaw has turned into a decent checking-line center, plus we have Pirri and Danault knocking at the door, so our nightmare of no center depth might finally be over. I'm pretty sure next year will be his last with the Hawks, which is too bad, because I always liked him and had high hopes for him.

Win, lose, or draw, Id see if I can get rid of him and Seabrook after this year. Though they both probably fall under trading a year too late. Maybe Tallon still thinks they have some value and will overpay for them.

He's not even Jocylen Lemeiux  Too bad Bickell will be free agent and we'll have to over pay. I like Shaw a lot when he keeps his head.

The Turf Room in North Aurora on Randall Road is great. Its an upscale OTB with a Bar & Restaurant with decent food. You gotta love the bathrooms that are fashioned after Horse stalls. There are 6 or 8 individual bathrooms that are private, each with its own toilet & sink. Apparently joining the bathroom club is a couples thing here.

If by "join the bathroom club" you mean "fuck in a bathroom," which you mentioned looks like a barn, then I'm questioning whether this is really that upscale.

Gee Willikers....all the pressure is on the Wings. The Hawks PP scored twice! Towes scored, the arrow is pointing up! As RFDC this is coming back to Chi-town!!!!!Seabrook and Keith pairing and the Kane, Towes, Sharp back together again have been pure genius by Q

I am going to miss about the first hour of the game due to a practice one of my daughters has tonight. Would any of you fine hockey guys be willing to text me score updates?

my sister lives about a stone's throw away from the turf room. there's also track race betting beyond the bar. great for eating outside, especially when it starts to get cool in the fall because they have a fireplace piping outside. there's also one inside. appetizers usually get a bit creative. i've had frog legs, cow tongue, and rabbit to name a few. usually changes.

oh, and even though it's a girlie drink...i highly recommend getting the "mommie dearest" cocktail. comes with a little plastic hanger over the glass. classic.
