Selig has to do something right now. The technology is there and more games are televised. Am I missing something?

Yes, SHARK you are. There are other Unions and owners that all have to agree on this, he can't just snap his fingers and do what he wants.

He is retiring as NBA Commissioner. Allan H. "Bud" Selig should do the same in MLB & Gary Bettman should've been fired after the NHL lockout.

The players and the owners don't want Selig fired, that is the reason they keep bringing him back. Their pockets are stuffed quite nicely with his assistance.
