Torres is doing his part to make sure only half of them are standing for the conference finals.

This game blows. Fuck the Rangers.

Krazy Ivan could build an army in a week using Rangers hockey as his main example.

I believe that I can say, without fear of exaggeration, that The Rangers' performance in overtime was the worst overtime performance in the history of the National Hockey League. The loss was a given, it was just a matter of when.

Numerous missed passes, numerous failed attempts to clear their zone, numerous giveaways. Dead, dead, dead.

That ice looked like shit. Puck bouncing all over the place. That's no excuse, though, as a team that relies on building a phalanx around Lundqvist and dumping in a rebound can hardly cite lost finesse.

The ice had nothing to do with The Rangers being unable to effectively clear their zone. I actually muttered to my son that many of their clearing attempts reminded me of the weak little flips "perfected" by his Squirt team that I coach. When The Bruins scored, I came very close to punching a hole in my wall. I also had to choke back several swear words because my son was there.

And the worst part is my wife always says the same thing: "Why do you get so upset when the (Glorious New York Yankees)(Giants)(Rangers) lose?" Man, that drives me completely insane.

I have been in such a sad state of despair today that I have been barely able to work.

29 seconds from going down 3-0 to the Penguins, Senators score and tie up the game while the penguins were on a PP.

The Sens have been awesome at late comebacks the last two years. They've had some tying/winning goals come even later than that.

Alfredsson is a hell of a player who will never get his due. He and Iginla are probably the two players whose legacies will be most adversely affected by the lockouts. Lecavalier to a lesser extent.

Brutal strategy by the Penguins. They kept dumping it in and peeling back and allowing the Senators to push the attack on the PK. It's 5 on 4, just run your normal PP and milk the clock. I hope this costs them the game.

The Senators have such horrible uniforms. They look like practice jerseys, with weird cutout shapes for "performance."

This looked cool.

Sens take it 2-1, in the 2nd OT, first multi-OT game of this year's playoffs.

Well, they are looking for a new head coach in Vancouver, let alone a babysitter for Roberto Luongo.

No, I can't live in a world where Tortorella coaches Vancouver.

Thing is, for a year or two, it might work. The crash would be spectacular though.

He'd tell you what he REALLY feels about Roberto Luongo if he took that job.

You know, Luongo has become so much more human since his demotion. I almost feel bad for the guy sometimes. He's not good enough to play ahead of Schneider anymore, and his contract is too big to move even with new provisions for assuming partial cap hits, so he's just stuck in purgatory like a past-prime NBA guy. I mean, relative to Bieksa, Kesler, Burrows, the Sedins, Vigneault, and Gillis, he wasn't even that much of a dickbag.

So who should I be cheering for in this Boston and Pittsburgh series? Who is a better matchup for the Hawks in the finals?
