If I may take a playbook from virtually every other Cubs-Sox series thread.

Boy, looks like the (Cubs) fans care about this rivalry much more than the (White Sox) fans do. The (Tigers) and (Twins) are what really matters.

Reading Steven in Burbank in this thread makes me want to be a Sox fan.

Like it or not, you have Elmhurst Steve on your side.

'nuff said.

It's not that Jones hasn't sucked this year, but I think Robin has really misused him. The guy is a one inning reliever. I think he proved that even when he was going well last year. Ventura uses him like he is long reliever

I thought that was Hector Santiago's role before getting a few spot starts.

Just 3 hits today for this punchless White Sox offense, and not much of a bench either.

I stand corrected. 5 hits for the White Sox now, but they're so hard to watch offensively as a whole.

Actually they're quite easy to watch. Just flip on your TV and turn to CSN, WCIU, WGN, on occascion, Fox.

Boom.

I said "No problem" and switched to the Cub broadcast

Its 5 runs, and the wind is blowing out at Wrigley. Its not been a good series for the Sox at all, but with the power they have no way are they out of this thing...yet.

Probably the same type of guy who was ready to bury the Blackhawks a week ago.

He was just saying that flippantly, If I turned it off for 5 seconds he'd be screaming

He's a hilarious dude and you'd love him. Never met a Cub joke he didnt love.

The wind's blowing out and these White Sox can't hit. You know what that means...

Hitting coach Jeff Manto, come on down!

Nice base running

What a dumb thing to be doing when his team is trailing by 5.

#1 Tyler Greene, Raleigh, NC. He did that once before in Toronto with ex-White Sox P Mark Buehrle on the mound.

I stand corrected. That was Alejandro De Aza, whose time in the leadoff spot might be numbered.

I would think so. He came into the game batting under .240. He did go 2-3 in todays game though. But who do they have to bat leadoff? Ramirez doesn't have a high enough OBP and Gillaspe is a rookie, so I doubt they would bat him there, though he may be best suited for it.

Cubs' TV voice Len Kasper suggested Gillaspie during his weekly chat with Mac & Spiegs yesterday.

Makes sense if he can handle the pressure. Not many rookies are thrust into the leadoff role though.
