I listened a lot back in the day. I had an hour long commute to and from work everyday back then.

Mac just seemed to be a shill to me. He would drop a name of a person or sponsor at any chance he got. I'm going to be grilling some beautiful Alllen Bros. steaks this weekend, or whatever. I know this happens in radio, but with him it just seemed over the top.

I never really found Jurko funny. Unless they were talking football, his thoughts are nearly 100% useless.

Harry was just forgettable, but he never really did anything to make me hate him or like him. He was just there.

How many interviews did Harry ruin with his stink bomb questions? How many shitty bits did he create?

The guy is and always has been a menace to radio listening audiences. 2/3 of the bust out comic radio hosts on this town are finally off the air with Harry and Spike not being employed. The remaining no talent is that vagina Bill Leff.

Harry being my "favorite person" was more sarcastic than actual opinion. I didn't like any of the 3 guys, I probably just hated him the least simply because I had zero opinion of him. I guess his schtick pissed me off the least.

Most radio interviews are probably 95% bad. It's rare that anyone interesting is ever calling into a show.

Jurko is fine on baseball and Basketball was not big in Chicago during the MJH years. I think he's hilarious. When he would go after Harry, that was gold.

I was a HUGE MJH guys back in the deezy. Since that time, I have grown increasingly tired of Mac. He probably hasn't changed much, but his flaws have become way more obvious with a complete douche as a partner. The hoops disdain, the hockey overlove, the glorification of bad movies (Caddie Shack, Slap Shot) the refusal to listen to anything made after '79....just always remind me of his "ptfb" mantra. He doesn't really want me as a listener. And I hear that loud and clear.

So, not hate...I guess. Just "eh". I listen from time to time, but I guess I lean more toward the the anti-Mac camp than the pro...

I agree with this. However, I think think the movies are funny but have been overly quoted and referenced by every lame white guy for the last 20 years.

Oh I meant to sign in here. While I don't like Speegs and kind of enjoy the semi-annual dogpiles here, anyone thinking he alone is responsible for the show's awfulness or that Mac is somehow being "held back" is deluded . Mac's been bad regardless of who he's been paired with for years.
