I'm really expecting the Kings to be far more physical in game 2. I know they threw like 40 something checks but I can't recall any that really stood out as overly physical. Look for Capt Dustin Brown to come out head hunting especially in light of Bolland's hit on Richards.

Awful.

I will say that it was extremely disheartening the way Bolland derped that play that led to a goal, but I am getting sick to death of hearing about The Great United Center Atmosphere and then everyone going into a silent pout as soon as the opposing team scores. I'd understand if it were some sort of learned helplessness circa 2002-2007, but hell-o, this is a team that set the regular season on fire and is playing in the third round. They win games. Sometimes when the other team scores first. Sometimes when the other team is up two games in a best of seven. Leave "well that's it for us, we're done, I'm suicidal" for message board creeps like me. If you have a ticket to the game, be a good fan, God damn it.

I'm still stunned the Hawks scored not one but TWO goals against Quick! Crazy. They also somehow survived the Kings relentless unforgiving impossible to beat forecheck. How could a team that won the President's trophy and went unbeaten in regulation for 24 games possibly do this?!?!?!?!
