The best part is we dont keep score or have outs. (Even if a kid gets thrown out he stays on base)

Im not in love with those rules, but pretty silly that the All Star game is going to be regular three out baseball.

Hey kids remember the last 10 weeks? Yeah, forget that shit.

just the concept of a T-Ball all-star game is beyond ridiculous

I hope the extra work Dunn is putting turns into results on the field.

AS games for Tball are a joke. Have an end of the year picnic or pizza party and give every kid a small trophy.

How old are these kids? Because I think that by the time they are in first grade or so, score and outs should be kept.

4-7 year olds

Mostly 1st grade and Kindergarteners.

Id like to keep outs. The only issue is they are so rare the kid WOULD feel singled out.

T-Ball all star game?

Are you kidding me? T ball is made up of kids who have never hit or fielded and an all star game is a good idea? How about just learning the game and have some shits and giggles?

Also, the guy who ditched the team the whole year, is taking the oppurtunity of all star pictures, to get the whole team together to take A SECOND team picture because he hasnt missed a team picture in 23 years

Im sure the non all star kids will have no questions about why 4 or 5 of their teammates are in another picture.

He's a nice guy who runs the league by himself (surrounding suburbs have comittees and websites, we have Bill)

And his reason for disappearing is as legit as it gets, I just wish he'd have told us at the start.

Maybe he was afraid of us saying no to coaching if we were going to be head coaching?

Maybe he had full faith in your competence as a coach.

Prison waits for no one.

He'll have that All Star pic to keep him company though.

Yeah, I do have talent to spare

But, I guess he did this last year too. (I coached a different team last year)

I just wish he had told us because I deferred to him on a lot of things early and then all of a sudden I was thrust into a position of power.

or it could have been that he knew you would squeak by the backround check, so you were good to go

Barely

There was a legit background check of my boss just so he could fill in at third base coach for his son's team

No doubt, I remember when I first started having to get it done. I would like to know how many people they have stopped from coaching. Even it is 1, that is a good thing.
