I can't post it because I'm at work, but apparently Drinky has been going at it with a guy on Twitter, and I immediately knew he was once of us because he referred to Laurence as "Larry"

You would think posts limited to 140 characters would result in a streamlined and elegant form of communication. Instead, the posts become a jumbled mess of references back to previous posts and links to tangentially related topics. It looks like Larz designed the format.

Very happy i stopped following Drinky. On sunday he stopped watching the Hawks game and decided to watch Game of Thrones, then when he was done decided to spoil the biggest scene of the show. Of course, he got a lot of shit from people and decided to troll everyone the rest of the night cuz in his small mind everyone else is the asshole and he can do no wrong. Everyone from that show now has the biggest fucking ego its insufferable.

Sounds petty because its just a tv show, but he works in sports media and stopped watching the hawks game. Then had to nerve to call someone an asshole for pointing that out. So professional.

Hate when Drinky goes into asshole mode

Except when he is using asshole mode against Bernsie, then it is usually funny.

drinky is Falstaff. He should have continued to shape his on air personna as the guy. Everyone loves Falstaff. He could have had side promotions from distributors every weekend while building a loyal fanbase. Instead, he has to go and get married and have kids. I'm that guy and believe me, no one loves that guy.

Fun Times. The guy was being an A-hole and I called him out for it. Rich Eisen posted a question regarding why people were bombarding him with spoilers to GOT. I sent him a response that some of it was likely because a nobody in the business was encouraging the behavior. I deleted it about a half hour later and then woke up on Monday to Drinky and what I can only assume was the president of his fan club. The sad thing is that I didn't just about everything to keep it clean...it probably wouldn't have lasted past noon if he/his followers hadn't brought my kids into it.

I find it hilarious that he posted enough mentions of Rich Eisen to provoke a response from Rich (Drinky of course missed the point that he is a relative nobody when compared to the lead first anchor on the NFLN.) Then he pulled Mitch in for a "vote of confidence" when I asked how his boss would react to his childish antics.

I registered to post this but have been lurking around for a few years. I figured you wound instantly recognize the Larry tip of the hat.
