I think by going after these guys in this way there are two angles. We might assume these guys are no longer using the junk and they are getting them for the past based on this guys past medical records etc. Or this is MLB's way to get the HGH type guys that they can't test for? I hope IB isn't saying we should allow EVERY player to use whatever they want. That is silly. There is some benefit to them taking these drugs. That doesn't mean they have to put up video game numbers. There were many guys on steroids during the 90's that sucked or was just okay.

If a guy wants to shoot up PCP before he goes to bat, more power (no pun intended) to him.

I'm saying the game isn't worth the candle. Open it up completely. Let 'er rip. Repeal the laws. PEDs don't have the effect everyone seems to think they do anyway.

The only intellectually honest rationale for steroid prohibition I've ever heard is dangerousness. And we are guaranteeing that these things stay dangerous for longer than they would if legitimate scientists could work on these products out in the open.

Good, Braun deserves all the treatment we gave Bonds.

I hate to be the white guy who points out racial stuff, but white guys seem to get away with PED use much more than non-whites. McGuire, Giambi, Braun. The only real exception is Clemens, but that is because everyone hates him.

IB your idea would be TERRIBLE. Everyone isn't using something. Having a clean game is the best way to go. We're getting closer. The decline in video game numbers is evidence.
